Big yikes. Some of the principles hold true now, but others don't. The anecdotes are cringe. Read a more modern book.

Equally sweet, devastating, and hopeful with a heavy dose of nostalgia. Feels like kind of a mood piece more than a story, though it does have a plot.

A delight to read! While the hero, Noah, makes some horrible decisions, his love interest is his own version of misguided, which balances out their dynamic. I love how the story combines two niche interests, and I love the well-developed supporting characters.

I love everything Shaun David Hutchinson writes, and BEFORE WE DISAPPEAR is no exception. Jack and Wil are such sweeties despite their dark lives. I enjoyed the magical love story and the historical setting with its anachronistic flair.
