Big thanks to erewhon books and netgalley for this e-arc!

First, obsessed with the cover. Second, this book was... good. Not bad, but I really struggled with the pace and some of the writing style decisions. I think a LOT of people will fall in love with this book, though, so I think the stylistic things are really just quirks that didn't work for me.

Published 30 years ago and absolutely stands up. A great start to a series, can’t wait for more

Another Cat Sebastian gem!!!

A bit chaotic in the beginning but honestly just so great. Rob and Marian are amazing.

Fun little backstory into the man King Maxim was when he was Crown Prince. Super short!

The style and coloring of this graphic novel is great, and I love the way the various covers of the small comic versions are included in this longer book.

This was fun! Alexandra Vasti is a good writer and I enjoy her plots. I’d read one of her novellas previously and was glad to get an early copy of this one from NetGalley (thank you!) to read!

Loved Lydia and Arthur!

I was reeeeally excited to get a chance to read Sarah and Caleb’s story a bit early! Thank you NetGalley and Dell!!

The journey in this one is great. I think you really see HBY’s growth from Next of Kin, her first self-pub (now trad pubbed!) novel. And I had really enjoyed NoK!

This one didn’t quite hit the Out on a Limb high for me but that’s okay. This journey was so fun and I also love a solid marriage-in-crisis. Caleb is a gem of men.

If you enjoy romance at all, you should easily enjoy this.

Another great one from Cara Bastone. This one, however, is CHOCK FULL of grief, and can get very hard.

I appreciated how much Bastone was able to make this book truly about the relationship between Miles and Lenny, even amid Lenny’s grief. It worked for me.
