I see a lot of mixed opinions on this book some love it, others don't think it was best in the series due to lack of drama and nothing too exciting happening. This book mostly focused on Gideon and Eva's relationship which I think is great since they haven't had a lot of time to focus on that.

Every other chapter is in Gideon's POV which threw me off in the beginning since I wasn't used to it but I've come to love reading Gideon's POV. Seeing into his mind is great it gave a lot of insight into why he does the things he does and how he feels about Eva. We also get to see a couple of his nightmares which broke my heart that he's so tormented by his past.

But without giving too much away I absolutely loved this book and it deserves every star it gets and I can't wait for the next one!!
