When Elsie learns that her college boyfriend turned fiancรฉ of the last eighteen months has planned their entire wedding and honeymoon as a surprise, she realizes sheโ€™s not at all ready for the future they had planned.

Instead she breaks off their engagement and drags her cradle to the grave bestie Ginny, who may or may not be head over heels in love with her, onto their non-refundable honeymoon.

Obviously lines blur and things get hot and heavy between Elsie and Ginny, and boy do I mean HOT ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐Ÿฅต

Buuuttt like a flash in the pan, things go sideways and Elsie and Ginny have a third act breakupโ€ฆ I just hated the whole miscommunication/lack of communication thing these two had going on with their feelings and just ughhhh. It wasnโ€™t necessary! The character growth however was ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

What to expect:
- best friends to lovers
- nonrefundable honeymoon
- plus size + nonbinary mc
- all the spice + dirty talk
- miscommunication/lack of communication
- third act break up

Newly divorced Robert meets his fated mate, a much younger widowed single father, while working at his sonโ€™s daycare center.

Jackson is sweet and kind, but Robert has a lot of hang ups about their pairingโ€”namely how much older he is than Jackson.

Fate has other plans though and Robert unexpectedly goes into heat, something he mistakes for hot flashes given his age, while out on a date with Jackson.

But fate isnโ€™t done with them and gives them an even bigger surpriseโ€”a baby.

Honestly, this was cute as shit.

  • crocodile + gazelle shifters
  • fated mates
  • age gap
  • single dad(s)

Honestly torn on what to rate this. The Price of Ice was so heartbreaking and heavy, and I hated what all Kallan went through.

I almost DNF few times, not because of the subject material, but mostly because this is a bit drawn out and I kept losing focus

Claimed by the Mountain Man had a lot of potential to be good. The premise of two broken and grieving men coming together to heal and find love again sounds like it would be a fantastic read, but this fell flat for me.

Everything felt so rushed and thrown together, with no real build up or tension between Cooper or Gage. Then once we learn about their pasts, the story just falls apart and ends rather abruptly.

- mountain man + retired army ranger turned bartender
- grumpy x sunshine
- instant attraction
- traumaaaa
- small age gap (4 years)
- PTSD rep

A want ad for a surrogate placed by his well meaning niece and irritating younger brothers brings wild and opinionated animal lover Trista into his life. From the moment Wyatt meets her he knows that she's the perfect woman for the job... and for him.

Nine Months Contract was such a funny and spicy read, although there were a few spots that made me go 'wtf', but overall a great time was had.

What to expect:
- mountain man + animal rescuer
- grumpy x sunshine
- baby daddy + surrogate
- age gap
- small town romance
- big close family dynamic
- found family
- plus size fmc
- breeding kink
