One of the most adorable a sweet books I've ever read. It takes me straight into the "magic" of the garden with these young people who are in desperate need of guidance and attention that they end up finding in each other.

Good world-building. It took a very long time to pull my interest. I had to get about halfway through the book before I wanted to continue. The characters start to blur together a little bit. Especially the two female leads, but I think this may have been done on purpose. To show how two people on opposite sides of the world can be so similar and have the same goals. While I commend her for having many same-sex relationships, I wanted to see more hetero couples to satisfy myself. There was much death and destruction which made me feel as if I were in George Martin's world. All in all very good.

Very engaging and easy read. Some of the characters are annoying and unsavory but that's the point isn't it?

Very witty characters and bunches of banter to chuckle at.

I'm sorry....*Spoilers*....

Huge cliffhanger at the end! I really do not prefer those types of stories. But the characters are engaging. I wish we saw more of their thoughts and perspectives, but that is part of the cliffhanger vibe. The audience does not see it coming.

One of the better Dark-Hunter novels. Keeps you guessing.

The character writing is fantastic. The old British speaking can by hard for my American brain to follow at times. Otherwise, a very good read.

Glint is really just part two of Gild. I really feel as if they're two halves of a whole story, and I LOVE Auren's story. She really is starting to find her strength and power in Glint. She's also starting to realize how much she's been brainwashed and complacent she's been with her Golden King.

In King Ravenger's army, she starts to see that there's more to life than living in a cage, even if said cage has kept you safe from the outside world. I love the Wrath group and how they're really a found family, and they start to show Auren that she can defend herself and doesn't need to rely on others to protect her.
