Twists and turns I never saw coming. Just when I would think I could predict what's next, everything shifts & nothing ended up as it seemed it would. Very well written. Pacing is great.

Nice pacing throughout. Never felt slow or dull. On par with the author’s style, this story is easy to digest & read, though the ending is wrapped up very quickly & tends to hold the reader’s hand a bit more than necessary. Very solid read.

Ninth House was great. This.... no thanks. Started in January & (finally) finished it. Even up until the last chapter, I kept hoping it would "get good". Sigh... I quit this book at least 3 times but kept coming back to it to try to give it a chance only because I pre-ordered it back in mid 2022. But, I've learned my lesson about doing that, moving forward. Glad this is over so I can focus on (hopefully) better books.
