Spare me 6 months of reality while I binge this whole universe...
Maggie I am SO DAMN glad I found you - I've been in my small town romance era recently and couldn't find any for the life of me, none that fully interested me anyway.
This isn't the first book of Maggie Gates that I read, but it's the first one in the universe so It made sense to post this one first.

'Claim me. Mark me. Use me. Fuck Me. Woah, Nellie- get your hormones in check, Becks.' ~ Becks is possibly my dream character, she's funny, she loves a good toe to toe argument but most of all, the love and compassion she shows everyone around her and just everyone she meets... ugh the characters couldn't be more perfect.
I really loved them...I had a little family backstory when going into this as I'd read book 2 from the easter egg order first but it just made it all the better.

From 'enemies' to lovers I couldn't have asked for anything more of their story.  The friendships and families around the main characters were so wholesome and I found myself in love with everyone mentioned, I need all of their stories immediately.
Nate is the perfect combination of broody and soft, being a comical jackass most the time but having the sweetest soft side,
"The army isn't forever, but you just might be."
"Nathan what are you saying?'
"...I love you."

The military aspect was awesome, having never read a military romance before I had no idea what to expect, and I'm not sure Becks knew either when she was flown out to base as a 'news reporter'.  Safe to say Becks and I loved our experience, well maybe once she stopped finding planted snake skins and scorpions in her bed, but she definitely got her fairy tale happy ever after.

If you're looking to spiral into a small town/ cowboy universe... this is your place.  I'm so hooked, January 15th and I'm already submerged in the 6th book in the world.
