π§πΏπΆπ΄π΄π²πΏπ: death of a grandparent, panick attack
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!
You can't help but love these characters, and the relationship they have.
Elio is so attentive and loving with Jasmine. He treats her with such calmness, adoration and awe. He worships her and supports her in everything she does.
Jasmine is a character you can relate to a lot. Just like her, I have my own insecurities about my future, what I will do after I finish university, when I'll the man that I'll have a family with. She struggles with these insecurities, and Elio is that person who makes her feel a little bit better and loves her deeply.
Their relationship develops so beautifully and naturally. I would love to have a Elio in my life. Their development as characters, and I loved it too.
You start this book with open arms and at the end you want to stay in their world and never leave.
So far in this series, this is my favorite book, and I am curious to see what else the author can surprise us with in the next book.

π§πΏπΌπ½π²π: enemies to lovers, forced proximity, small town, forbidden, no third act breakup, one sleeping bag
Two enemies that are stuck in a cabin for five days.. what could go wrong? Or good..?? Either way, sign me up!!
Charlotte and Rowan have hated each other for a very long time, but it is clear that there are sparkles between them that are just waiting to explode. It doesn't take much because they find themselves stuck in a cabin, with little heat, with an ankle that hurts unfortunately for Charlotte, but that's enough for them to have that sparkles explode and eventually can barely stand without touching each other.
I really liked how Corinne wrote the development of the characters and their story from enemies to lovers. Their chemistry is strong, and it was these sweet and tender moments between them (until they became a couple) that filled my heart.
Now I'm sad that I have to leave these characters, but I'm curious to see what new adventure the author is preparing us for.

This book is truly a masterpiece. If The Brightest Light of Sunshine was fabulous, wait when you read Maddie and James's story.
Maddie is now a woman ready to take the biggest step in her career, only this dream is shattered when she suffers an injury and had to do physical therapy to get back on her feet. Now we truly discover Maddie and see her fears, insecurities and dreams better, but also how the past affected her and built her into the woman she is today.
James is her doctor, who does much more than treat her. After the period in which Maddie is his patient, they begin to know each other better and more deeply than an ex-doctor would do with an ex-patient. He is a character you can't help but fall in love with. He is grumpy, older than her, has cats and falls in love with Maddie very quickly, who doesn't fear to show her how deep he cares about her.
I loved how the author wrote the development of the characters and how she brought parts of the past into the present and finally gave Maddie the peace of mind she needed, but also the pure chemistry and relationships between her and James.
I loved this book, and I can't wait to see what this author surprises us with in her next book.

Ezra is a hot cop who finds Savannah hiding on a private property. He is such a cinnamon roll who wants to protect and help her. Savannah is fierce, a fighter and wants to find her sister. They make such a sweet and a beautiful couple, I simply adored these characters, and how beautifully the author wrote their development.
Also, the plot twist was totally unexpected. You didn't really know much until you got to that part.
This book filled my heart and I really loved everything about it. 10/10 if I could give it. So if you are looking for a book where the hero is a hot single dad cop, the heroine is a strong, fierce, but lonely woman, in which they find the feeling of long-lost love and with a totally unexpected plot twist, then this book could be perfect for you.

π§πΏπΌπ½π²π: marriage in trouble, second chance, characters in their 40's, small town, parents of teenagers
This story is an emotional one where Lauren and Jack face a marriage in trouble. Their children and Jack's father made a plan to bring Lauren and Jack to the Pop's house, and spend one last summer together. Here, Jack finally sees that he has to change to save his relationship with Lauren, but she realizes some things too.
During the time they spent together, it makes them change some aspects, and repair the distance that exists between them, and save their marriage. The process is hard and raw, but a beautiful one. Girls, have some napkins with you because you might shed some tears.
Their story is full of emotions, from which we must learn that communication is the one of the keys to a successful relationship, and that without it we would be strangers to our loved one.

π§πΏπΌπ½π²π: small town, broken military hero, single mom, widowed heroine, grumpy x sunshine
π§πΏπΆπ΄π΄π²πΏπ: death of a loved one
Tina is a single mother after her husband died in the line of military duty, and Kyle was a former military doctor who was discharged due to an injury. When they meet for the first time, Kyle is attracted to her and can't help but find reasons to spend time with her, but he has a secret that could destroy Tina's happiness.
Both of them struggle with grief and loss, but fate brings them together, and their relationship is exactly what they needed. Every moment together brings them closer and makes them heal. I really liked watching the evolution of their relationship, but also the acceptance of Tina children, especially Callie, of Kyle.
Their story is an emotional one in which two people find themselves after loss, heal each other and find their long-lost sparkle.

This book is completely different from the others in the series, and when I realized that it is an MFM story, I was more intrigued to find out the story of the characters.
The chemistry between Blayne, Brodie and Casey is so intense and complement each other so perfectly. I just adored how the men's relationship developed and how they became more and more comfortable with their feelings for each other. And the spicy scenes are extremely steamy, so be prepared.
I'm sad that this series is over, and now I have to see what read next from this author.
π§πΏπΌπ½π²π: college, friends to lovers, sport romance (basketball), tutoring
This has been the first ever book I have read from this author, and I really loved it and enjoyed.
Blair needs help with her statistic class, because she is determined to success and get her degree diploma, but what happens when Wes, the hot basketball player, starts helping her? Blair doesnβt understand how can he have so good grades when heβs literally sleeping through that class, but spending time with him she finally gets that heβs using statistics almost every time heβs playing.
The scenes between them are full of banter, cute and sweet small moments. I loved how deep they connected and how they both had each otherβs back. They are so perfect together, and I just loved them.
This book was the perfect one to make me start reading books from this author.
π§πΏπΌπ½π²π: age gap, bodyguard, ex military, best friend's dad, alpha hero
π§πΏπΆπ΄π΄π²πΏπ: murder, violence, death of a loved one
Usually I don't read books where there is a big age gap, or best friend's dad or something like that, but I really liked this book.
Quinn is a lawyer in need of protection after receiving violent threats because of the case she is working on with a celebrity. Rex, the father of her best friend and the crush she has had since she was 18 years old, is attributed to her. She is now 28, and he is 49. Their relationship doesn't start right away, it takes them a while to admit what they feel, but the scenes between them are intense, hot and steamy.
The story itself is very interesting, and I really liked how the author creates suspense and leaves you surprised at the end.
I am very happy that I discovered Hannah Shield last year, because she has become one of my favorite authors and from whom I would read everything she writes.

Such a wonderful book. I loved Abbie and Will's story, and little Seb is so adorable.
Will and Abbie have been friends since high school, but they never crossed this line. Everything changes when Abbie's apartment and yoga studio flood, and the only place she can stay is at Will's.
On the night that Abbie moves, he is taken by surprise when one of the girls he had a hookup with, brings him the child and all the necessary documents for him to have custody. Abbie knows that Will would never ask for help, so because "her apartment isn't ready yet" she stays and helps Will while he works.
During all the time that Abbie stays with Will, the two of them cross the line of friendship, and finally let out to some deep feelings, which is very sweet and hot.
I really liked the development of the characters. Will was a playboy until his son came into his life and wants to offer him the love of a father that he didn't receive when he was a child, and Abbie that she could declare that relationships and children are a big no, ends up falling in love with little Seb and his father.
