All He Ever Needed by Tay Mo'Nae

I enjoyed this one. I felt like the uncomfortable situation of one night stand turned baby momma turned into love was a realistic timeline in this one.
It is important to note I listened to the podium audiobook so the reviews saying there was a lot of grammatical errors are possibly still very valid but as an audiobook it was flushed out much more than what I am seeing from my mutuals.

I thought this was super cute. I loved how these two just fit so well into each other's lives. I like that they went from a one-night-stand to a slow progression of lust and like into their next time together. Sometimes I'm iffy about winning the lottery plotlines but this one was good and I enjoyed how Sybil used her money.
The relationship with Sybil's family, her mom mostly, was hard to read I'm glad it came to the outcome it did, and while it was working itself out that Kiran was there for her to back her up and showcase her many bright spots instead of showcasing her downfalls like her mom did so often.
These two just worked together and they brought the best out in each other. I had a great time reading!
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for an early copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

I was weak for the groveling and second chance type of aspect in this however it was hard for me to move on from what Seth did even if it was a high school mistake he regrets I held a grudge for Cassie lol. There were good parts and I loved the paranormal aspect of this. I liked the audiobook as well I just wish there wasn't what I call a silly reason for him to do what he did to her because that would have been traumatic for any teenager...

The production on this was amazing I love when audiobooks are like movies with sound effects and such. I wished this was longer but it was very detailed and finished nicely, I just could have read a lot more of their romance journey!

I really enjoyed this opposites attract story. I loved their push and pull, especially in the idea that it was Aaliyah coming out of her shell. I also adored the way Aaliyah's protectivness of Von's daughter, the scenes in the principal office had me yelling in support at my kindle lol.

The ending of this was good because I love a group epilogue and I liked the letters and how they came back together but this one fell flat for me similar to book 2, this one was more interesting than 2 but nothing compares to Rowan and Sloane for me I guess
A Wedding in the Lowcountry by Preslaysa Williams

This was a slow-burn between childhood friends who have always felt a little something for each other but one of them is not confident in taking that step. After years apart that spark is still there and we get to see what they are going to do about it. I found myself a little unengaged at times with the writing but I appreciated the story of growth that Avila went through. Personally the walls she put in and how she reacted to Terrance trying to love her at times was tough for me because it felt like we only got the surface level stuff of their romance. I loved that she ended up getting back into a job ina field that she has long since thought was no longer for her, a great example of dreams changing but not having to be given up.
