Ahh my heart! This book was an unexpected delight - the food parts were my favourite, but I also loved the dialogue (so Southern), the Kentucky setting and the beautiful descriptions of nature. Big recommend!!

I didn't realise this was YA until I finished, but like a lot of YA books it's not 'young' at all. Really enjoyed this read!
