I liked this book. It was well-written and interesting. It was cool how it sort if switched into a detective mystery novel halfway through. The characters were three dimensional and relatable. It was also very thought provoking with a lot of good memorable useful quotes.

This book had some good advice on writing. There were some nice messages like how to overcome writers block and how to jot down little thoughts on notecards. But then there were long passages in the 2nd person. I do not like reading anything in the 2nd person. So i skimmed those parts. And I didn't care for the parts about what was going on in her life. I see that she was trying to be personable and relatable but I didn't care for it.
