To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

This book seemed way too thick of a book when it became a class assignment. Reading the back of the cover, I wasn't interested at all, but I have an OCD when it comes to grades. So I read it and I loved it. Some parts made me laugh because of the lovable character of Scout. Some parts made me furious because of the time it takes place when African-Americas were segregated. I found myself wanting to read ahead of the class and deeply engrossed in Harper Lee's amazing writing. If you aren't forced to read this in your classroom, you need to read it individually.

I didn't have a lot of high hopes for The Summoning. One of my friends had read it and encouraged me to also read it. I was absolutely astonished when I began to read it. It was like my dreams had come true because it had all the elements in it that I just love. There's action, mystery, supernatural forces, and of course romance. I read it and had to read the sequel. Unfortunately for me, I had to wait what seemed like forever for the third installment to come out. If you're interests are anything like mine, I deeply encourage you to read this book and all the sequels. You won't be dissapointed.
