I liked the beginning but the story dragged a little in the middle and I l found myself not very interested until the end. The sex scenes were great. I really liked the Alice and Wonderland m/dystopian premise. Wasn’t really feeling Maddox as a love interest, but I guess that’s the best you can do after the apocalypse?

Good first book of the series, lots of detailed world building, that wasn’t overdone. Climax was a little predictable but still enjoyed the characters. Looking forward to reading the second book
