A really beautiful story of resilience and the power of human connection and love.  Not sure I agree with it being classified as a thriller but whatever. A few criticisms:
1. The overgeneralizations of childhood autism symptoms
2. The need to illustrate body size/normalization/acceptance of negative body image/ED/body shaming. It just didnt add to the story and gave me the ick

I really loved the connection between Julia and Alice as well as the sense of self awareness that Ellie developed

Ultimately it made me cry and that is an automatic 4 stars always!

That's all. Thats the review.

Im not sure I can say I LIKED this because every single character was actually terrible but it definitely hooked me, engaged me, and made me give quite a few side eye WTFs. The main character is the epitome of antihero protagonist that truly is her own worst enemy. The writing is smart and witty. I will definitely read more by this author.

The book is a dark romance with a "why choose" dynamic, featuring one girl and three guys. The premise revolves around the girl’s 3 male high school bullies, who actually had romantic feelings for her, and even though she thought she was free from them after graduation, they’ve been secretly monitoring her. The plot itself wasn’t the issue, but the narrative felt chaotic and disjointed, likely due to trying to fit too much content into fewer than 300 pages.
I give it 3⭐️ 3🌶 cliffhanger end. I will read book 2🙈 because I need to know what happens and Im a sucker for a duology

What a fun read!!! I was hesitant because I have gotten burned with popular books recs recently but I actually really enjoyed this book. I was surprised to find myself enjoying a paranormal romance written in a rom-com voice.  If you want to giggle and be entertained with some very well written spice, then I reccomend.

Falling for Gage

DID NOT FINISH: 23%

This was sooooo boring to me. All the long drawn out self reflection was obnoxious and unnecessary.  The times when Gage and Rory were in the same scenes were engaging but not enough to help me dredge through the rest

I was worried about this book because 1. Archer's Voice was AMAZING and 2. Travis was such a POS in book one.
He redeemed himself and earned a ❤️ from me. This wasn't anywhere as good as AV but it was sweet and fun and I enjoyed myself.

It was nice to hear the stories that created the baddie we love Aelin Galathinious, however I stand firmly on my conviction that it should not be read as book 1 in the series, I would have been so disinterested if I had done that.

This felt like a fever dream narrated in a British accent lol. I pretty much predicted the entire plot line with the exception of Finn's character so for these parts I was truly shocked.  Side note: the irony that the narcissistic manipulative mother was named Debbie was absolutely not lost on me🤣🤣🤣
