It was also extremely morbid and every time I went to read it I'd find excuses not to.

What a banger!
The world that was created in this book was amazing, with one of my favourite magic systems I've ever read.
The characters were great and I lived obanji and soren so much!
Some fantastic action and some absolutely brutal villans.
Will definitely be picking up the next one.

This was good fun.
Lots of shootouts and a great last showdown. Loved the maim character and his relentless journey of revenge.
