જ⁀➴listened to the audiobook once again up till 83% and then read the last few chapters and it was amazing,highly recommend .ᐟ.ᐟ

જ⁀➴ 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨:i totally understand that this is a cozy fantasy so it is completely normal to feel like nothing happened.now this had a plot and things happened but I still felt like nothing happened which is interesting and I think that if I didn’t listen to the audiobook I would’ve felt bored.personally I prefer the first book to the second.im also learning that cozy fantasy is not entirely my thing like I enjoy it but if I read them the way I enjoy most which is binging the entire series I find it to be a little boring.

જ⁀➴°⋆ 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨:this is a cozy fantasy / historical fiction with a sub plot of romance.the characters are definitely the highlight of this book for me.emily and Wendell dynamic is very much opposite attracts.emily is an introvert who struggles to interact with people,hardworking and workaholic.wendell is an extrovert,a social and lazy person who would take any chance to avoid work.this dynamic made for some funny moments all throughout the book.and in case you’d like to know this takes place in winter and therefore winter is the perfect season to read this I just wanted to mention this because I know some people would like to know that(I’m one of them)but with that being said this can be read at any time of the year.

Holy shit my favourite book in the series this was so good and it wrapped up the series so well with two different epilogues for other couples.im so glad I read it but also sad it ended

This was very disappointing I really didn’t appreciate the sense of humour I guess it was trying to be sarcastic but it ended up just being cringy.i get that it’s supposed to be like a cozy romantasy with basically no stakes but this was too much even for that premise and the couple had no chemistry and I wasn’t rooting for them whatsoever.the fmc and mmc didn’t feel like the main characters they just didn’t have main character energy in my opinion
