This is a sweet, slow, burn. I love the side characters, especially in San Francisco. I would characterize this one more as contemporary than romance. The romance exists, but it’s really not the main focus of the book IMO. 

I have some really niche reasons that it’s not 4 or more stars that I won’t get into, but overall I really enjoyed this book. 

Looking forward to more from this author and hoping for a Clover/Beth sequel! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
