So at first, I was going to give this a 4.75 because I was very emotional at the end. After some thought and sitting in my feelings yes this is definitely a 5. The world building was so good in this story it felt nior, old, but slightly futuristic at the same time. I liked the view point of someone from the Americas talking about European vampires.  How she described the different vampires and how the humans were dealing with them was very interesting. Now the only thing I will say is that if you are a romance girly like me be careful about be swept up with the romantic thread in the story. It has romantic elements it is not a romance you have been warned do not let yourself be hurt like I was. Besides that I will say this is so good and I recommend you read this.

I liked this book though it was slow and I was able to put it down slightly easily at the beginning. Though once you get through to closer to the middle it does pick up. When the big action like scene happens its quite gripping and emotional. I did tear up a couple of times so be warned.  I do have to say I guessed at the beginning that it was connected to The Last Cuentista and it is you see it at the end. I won't tell you how or what happens but I was excited when I was proved right.

I didn't really like this one. I will say that the story itself was good and its retelling was good. This felt like a telenovela which is a Mexican soap opera and I personally don't like the theme. It was very dramatic and over the top like many telenovela's are.  I think this book and the story are good but it is just not the book for me and others will definitely have a better time then I did.

I love the story of traditional magic and Brujeria in this story.  This showed how strong women of Latine culture are strong and how they actually had a higher place in society before colonization. They were respected for their power.

I enjoyed this book the only reason I am giving this a low 4 is because there is daddy kink in it. I don't personally like it. I know people who love it so it's what you like so know that going in. 
In general, the book was good I loved the erotica story. It's very much a classic of someone being first brought into the kink world though I will say it goes from like 2 to 100 really quick. She has at least read about it but learns quickly that being in the world is different from just reading.  They pull of enemies to lovers is very interesting because I don't really feel like they were every really enemies it was just pushed heavily into the play but somehow it still worked.

I really enjoyed this book did I take a big break in the middle yes but that was because I was mad at the characters not because the book was bad. The book is really good I have never stopped reading it because I wanted to put characters pretty much in time out. So I would say definitely read this but be prepared for some stressful miscommunication partly do to them being different species.
