WISDOM. WISDOM. WISDOM

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

These Graham men are after my heart I swear. I knew I was gonna love Wisdom from the first introduction of him. He is finally back home after dealing with a tough break up and grieving the loss of his mom. An unexpected woman peaks his interest. Her close proximity to his family leads to an unexpected friendship and sparks fly. Janae is a firecracker. She is best friends with Ciyani from Made For You. Her heart has been hardened due to past trauma. She never thought it would begin to thaw until she starts spending time with very reserved Wisdom Graham.

The friendship built between these too was so pure that I couldn’t help but root for them. I found myself yelling at Janae in this book telling her to let Wisdom love on her and don’t hold back. It was great to read the many dimensions to Wisdom’s character as situations happen throughout the book. Wisdom is the star of this book and I absolutely loved him. It’s sad that the Graham’s story is coming to an end but I know for sure whatever Kami has coming after them is gonna be

When it’s Us nothing else matters

Katori Nichols and Lamont Day found love in each other early. But after traumatic events happened in Lamont’s life he is very apprehensive about one thing in the progression of their relationship. Naturally Katori wants to build a family with the one she loves but Lamont is strongly against it. The two break up due to this. When a tragedy brings Katori and Day back together and they share one night together.

Fast Forward 5 years, they find themselves in Crescent Falls where they both become very successful in their careers and have new love interests. Katori never expected to run into Day again but that thing called fate is always around. Will Katori’s secret threaten any chance of reconnecting or is love enough?

I really enjoyed this one. Katori and Day really did need the time separate. Katori felt like what she did at the time was the right thing to do. Although I don’t agree I can absolutely see why she did it. Day was so hung up on what she did that he was reacting off emotion when Katori wasn’t trying to block him. I wish there was more of Kat and Day together on page after they finally got things together but I still enjoyed their story.

Ne’a and Zane

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Ne’a Lewis has gone through a lot in her life. From dealing with her mother’s alcoholism to her father’s abandonment to using her body as a way of showing her affection towards someone. Ne’a is seeking love but she encounters many “frogs” before she meets her “prince”. Newly single Zane Edwards has returned back to Butter Ridge Falls. Waiting yo finalize his divorce to Zoe, Zane isn’t currently looking for anything serious. His brother and his sister in law are trying to hook him up but things don’t go well when Ne’a and Zane first meet.

The attraction is there but when Zane lets Ne’a know he can’t be exactly what she wants the countdown started for me because I knew that wouldn’t last long. Zane naturally protective nature was everything that Ne’a needed. She struggled with knowing her self worth and being used but Zane was the type to adjust her crown whenever he saw it slip.

I couldn’t stand Ne’a’s father. He was a real piece of work. Her mother lost herself in that man and I hated that Ne’a kept putting herself out there for him to constantly treat her like crap. Zoe was completely insane and definitely delusional. Especially since she was the one who messed up. I loved Kaia and Jude they were hilarious at times and I loved how they loved on each other. Overall I loved the connection between Ne’a and Zane just wished I got more of there love on page without other people and issues arising.

Now I have questions

Amaryllis moved off of emotion. Though her husband wasn’t innocent she took it to the next level. I couldn’t believe Angelo. I thought he was the good guy in this but he really is a villain. I’m do wonder if Jr isn’t really a Jr. This was a quick read and I was entertained. I couldn’t figure out who was doing what until the end.
