I really really enjoyed this book. I thought the narration was beautiful and the action scenes have my gripping the book. The only part I didn’t love was the dialogue. It just felt very formal all the time, but it didn’t take away too much from my enjoyment.

I was so excited about this book, but I was disappointed. I was hooked by the blurb on the back stating that main character was queer and exploring magic and both those things were plot points that seemed almost irrelevant. I didn’t understand why it had to be based on the great gatsby and couldn’t be an original story. I was bored until the last 40 pages.

I enjoyed the story and I think Mark Twain is really good at writing from a child’s perspective. However, the n-word is used way to much for me to enjoy the book.

I adored this book and could not put it down. Anytime I wasn’t reading it, I was thinking about it. I loved the unique format and found it was so easy to read as someone who gets distracted during books easily!

This one was a very slow start for me but once I got into it I was hooked. I related to Edna a lot and was praying for the best for her.

This book was so good!  It took me a little bit to get into but once I did I couldn’t put it down. I loved the twist on the little mermaid!

It was a sweet book. Cute, fun, and a solid children’s novel

I thought this book was pretty mid. The main character objectifies women in a weird way and like constantly. I was bored and didn’t want to keep reading it.

I don’t often react while I’m reading but this book had me laughing out loud, crying, and yelling at it. It is truly a beautiful book that makes you think about the important things in life.

So intense, so many twists. I was so conflicted reading this because I know that Snow is the villain of The Hunger Games so it was very weird rooting for him. Most of the twists took me by surprise and I couldn’t put it down.
