I think the issue I have with this whole series is that the author focuses so hard on trying to make things so dark and twisted she neglects the ending and leaves the ending to feel rushed and unsatisfying. Honestly could’ve done without this last book.

I don’t really know what I just read. I’m a little concerned I didn’t out right hate it. Definitely a funny little story

It was fine. Very slow and info dumpy in the beginning. Finally picked up toward the end (around 270ish pages) but even that felt a little anticlimactic given how long it took to get to anything interesting. It was good but I had hoped for a little more

Actually more to this than I expected. Idk what I expected but murder and Greek Gods was not part of my expectations….definitely a silly and fun read. No regrets!

Really slow start but absolutely addictive to read. The magic system is really interesting. The parallel worlds is a little confusing but she makes it pretty easy to follow. V.E. Schwab could write literally anything and I would love it though. I don’t think I’ve read anything of hers that doesn’t blow me away.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 7%.
I don’t get the hype. I can’t take it seriously when we keep randomly bringing up pornographic magazines out of no where. Idk what is going on. The plot feels all over the place. I literally had to force myself through the first 30ish pages and honestly I’m just not interested anymore.

I think the thing I love the most about this series is that yes it’s a romance about two people falling in love but it’s so much more. The focus on the main characters’ relationships outside of that are so well done. The relationships they have with their children, friends, family, career, etc is all so in depth. (Helps that Judah is also like the definition of perfect 🤭). This is by far my favorite of KR’s books so far!
