Feels like an attempt at flowery dark prose, but comes across as repetitive word salad. Interesting premise, but unfortunately not for me.

Spoiler free:
I’m biased because TOG will forever have my heart, HOWEVER I wish SJM would pick up a thesaurus and stop using the phrase “pure *insert noun/verb here*” it has become the new “watery bowels.” Also, what is with the weirdly timed sex scenes/blatant sexual tension, so much of it felt clunky???
I saw another review mentioning that Lydia , Therion, and Ithan carried this book, and I agree.
Overall it was a good ending to the trilogy, while leaving crumbs for future adventures with other characters/worlds.
