That was an epic finale, the conclusions of the bigger problems are not really explained in here, but Lockwood and Co has done their part. I will really miss them all.

This series has been my little escapism during my unemployment and i actually finished the series in a week...that's terrifying. And the skull! I love its emotional journey here, and we're left to wonder his final decision, even though we already knew what his decision is in a very subtle way

Brilliant plot, and here I can see how different Hastings's and Poirot's characters are. Hastings is a lovely character, and the villain is.....vile. Definitely staying on my shelves.

Great book, though I expected more from the plot or the character development. It feels like I can't understand Jonah North as a character, he feels bland, like a character to fill a romantic development. I don't understand the purpose of his character replacing JT. The romance between him and Milly is cute, I actually enjoyed that, but I hoped he actually did something to the plot since we got to read his POV. I know he is the son of Anders' client, but except for the fact he is the proof of Anders' bad personality, after his kiss with Milly he did absolutely nothing else on the story.

Reading this feels like watching a just-for-passing-time kind of movie. It's absolutely enjoyable at the moment, but I think I won't spend my time on the internet trying to engage in a discussion about this book.

Super long read but a very deep experience. I like the way Murdoch makes charles horrible, but I still can perceive him as simply human. He was still the despicable man, but life is life and one should be entitled to the consequences of one's own doing. The thing is, we read from charles' perspective, which is heavily unreliable. We never really know the true character beside charles, especially of Hartley and Ben. The only character beside Charles that I seem to have a clear grasp on is James.

Cute episode. Not as substantial as other volume, but a pretty light and enjoyable read
