The Bad Seed by William March

Oh my gosh! I have loved the movie based off this book for years and just realized it was also a book. This book is better than the movie by far, as is typical. I would recommend this to everyone. It is a classic that is so good. The narrator for the audiobook was so good. I couldn’t stop listening to this book. It is an edge of your seat book. Read it.
Dead Meat: The Complete Zombie Apocalypse Series by Nick Clausen

Do not read this. I read 6 pages and had to stop. I very rarely DNF books but this is one. This author cannot get the correct POV. It is laughable. Read any other book and you would be better off for it.
Dead Girls Can't Tell Secrets by Chelsea Ichaso

This book was good. There were twists I saw coming and others I didn’t. This book was entertaining but not even close to a great book. It is a good palate cleanser between other books.

This book was pretty decent. I was enthralled and wanted to know what happened so I kept reading. Lottie is my favorite animal in the series thus far. I cannot wait to read the next set of books, the Hope trilogy. Overall, if you want to read a book that is about post apocalypse/dystopian this is a great series to read.
Cook County ICU by Cory Franklin MD

The only reason I gave this book more than 1 star is because I found the stories that discussed HIV/AIDS patients informative. For the rest of the book it felt like this author was congratulating himself over what he thinks is a great career. Who knows, maybe it could be. If this author talked about working with Harrison Ford any more than he did, that’s what this book would be about. I would read any other book than this one quite frankly.
The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America's Shining Women by Kate Moore
3.5
What can I say about this book?? SO MUCH! This author did a great job at portraying the pain and anguish the radium girls went through. You can tell the author took their time when writing this book. You can also tell the author took the time to really know the victims of the radium and to show how they lived while the radium companies denied anything negative from the radium. It is amazing that someone wrote about women who were forgotten and to put them in the forefront because they are the ones who suffered. Read this book, even if this is the only nonfiction book you read this year. It is so good.

This book was good once it actually started to go somewhere. I could not have sat down and read this book so I’m glad I listened to it. I will probably read the next book in the series and I knew going into it that it was a big series but the first half of this book went nowhere fast and the second half was really good. I hope the next book is as good as the second half of this one or I won’t be reading the third book.
After the EMP: the Darkness Trilogy by Harley Tate

To start, I really enjoyed this trilogy! The reason it is not rated higher is because there are more than just a couple grammar mistakes that need to be fixed in this book. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and I did tear up a couple of times which is not very common for me with books.
Rust-Colored Rain by Otto Schafer

This book was very entertaining! I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading the next in the series. Though this book is shorter than average, so much happened that it felt like a much longer book. I will recommend this book to anyone who likes zombie books!

I very much enjoyed this book! I have read other books by this author (Clown in a Cornfield 1 and 2) and was not let down between those novels and this one. I think if you like a suspenseful and mysterious book this is for you.
