I just love the way the stories connect with each one at the end of the book.
The grandpa of Isabel was in Cuba when the St. Louis. arrived. He was a police in there. Then, Josef who was AT St. Louis. The last part was the hardest. Mahmoud arrived to Germany and was helped by two elderly people, I noticed that the elderly woman was Ruthie when she gave Waleed the white rabbit plush. But then I confirmed when she was telling all the story and what happened to her mom and her brother, Josef. My favorite character was Josef, but every child has a space in my heart. This book it’s not my favorite, but it is REALLY good.

Es mi opinión personal y entiendo porque a muchas personas les encanta (o solo gusta) pero siento que se extiende mucho. Creo que fácil, la historia pudo haberse redactado en 20 o 50 páginas por mucho. Le pondría una estrella pero creo que en si la historia (dejando de lado los tecnicismos, medidas, información extra, que, aunque hacía más creíble este viaje, te aburrían) era buena. Pero esta es solo mi opinión y no significa que si a mí no me gustó, a ti no te tiene que gustar

Cambiarias tus recuerdos para ser alguien que no eres?
Al principio no me sentí relacionada,o cercana a los personajes, y cuando lloré por el final no lo podía creer, realmente solo quería abrazar a Aaron y decirle que es amado.
Me encanto la trama y como todo cobra sentido y se vuelve aún más triste.
Si pudiera estar en el libro, sin duda mataba a sus “amiguitos”.
Este libro es totalmente “less happy than ever” y no “more happy than not”.
