honestly, this was so different from the works i’m used to reading but it resonated with me.  i felt like a total idiot for crying so much while reading this😭i was God damn i’m rlly bawling my eyes out over a depressing story ab a dude turning in a bug rn… can i please be serious☠️☠️but at the same time this hurt so much bc my brain automatically correlated gregor’s emotions and feelings with how i’ve felt in multiple stages of my life. kafka encapsulated that feeling so well. a popular critique is that this work is too dragged on and depressing but i srsly feel like that’s what made it so meaningful for me like that was so real tbh!! IM SO BUG CODED GUYS 🐜 🐛 🐞 (writing this review at 2am)
