How to Keep House While Drowning: A Gentle Approach to Cleaning and Organizing by KC Davis

This was a great short and concise and uplifting book! Not only does it tell you about great and simple tips to incorporate in your house, but it takes into account mental health and neurodivergence.

Often we hear of these self help books that just tell you to "just do it!". Instead, this book helps you look at organiztion in a different lense, it helps us have self-compasison and helps you start your healing journey.

This book takes into account that not everyone might have the privilege to do the things the author is writing about, and it gives some solutions. I think this is the kind of self-help book that needs to be promoted more often as it is more inclusive.

Fourth Wing Review! 3.5 🌟

This book is very entertaining. There is a lot of action, dragons, "badass" characters and hot romance. Everything most readers are looking for, hence the hype this book got. I can say I read this very fast as there was a lot of action and the language was easy to read. I don't think it is great writing (for starters the excessive use of the word "hot"), for instance the world building was lacking, the dialogues were often eye roll worthy, some characters were cringey. It reads as an enjoyable fanfic, kind of reminds me of Twilight. Not great writing but enjoyable and hence popular because they are easy to read, but not popular for its writing and literary style. Again, quality of writing wasn't quite complex, which not everyone enjoys anyways so it just depends what kind of writing style you like.

This is definitely a great beginner romantic fantasy for the casual fantasy reader. It doesn't mean it is not enjoyable it just means that if a fantasy reader reads this they would know this is not a unique plotline or idea, and that the development of characters, storyline and worldbuilding is not quite there. But then again, not every fantasy book has to be Tolkein level fantasy and I get it! This is more accessible and understanding the target audience can also help us review this book more fairly.

The twists weren't that impressive either and the narration felt very juvenille and "teenagy".

The pros, the dragons and Liam. Loved the dragons! Great characters. And of course Liam. I did enjoy part of the romance, not the sex scenes as much but the romance and deep connection between the characters was very sweet.

This book was full of action, very quick to read, smutty.

Will I read the next book? Maybe! (Probably)
Do I recommend it? Yes! I think you should give it a try, you will definitely enjoy it.

It was ok, but worth the hype? I can't even write a good review so i don't think i can judge any written piece so seriously, these are just some thiughts.

The romance was very sudden and baseless so i didn't enjoy it.

First 60% so slow.

The trials were not as cool or creative...

The twists were ok. So the book was ok overall.

I know this book has a bunch of mixed reviews. Many have said they do not like that it doesn't quite go into detail of the magic system, or that nothing happens throughout the book. I must say this is a more character based book but things do happen. There is some action and msystery involved which I found enjoyable.

My main issue was with the writing style... and dialogues. Some lines did not make sense but it never felt confusing. The dialogue was eye roll worthy. The character are intentionally unlikable but in a good way (makes sense why they are unlikeable)

This book had so much potential! It feels wasted because it could have been so much more.
It felt underwhelming for what it could have been. The world and the magic was great, i want to know more.

Not my favorite book but not "hateable"
