It was so great to back in Kate Quinn’s world. I really thought this partnership worked! I loved the back and forth between the two main characters and how it became 4-6 character that I was completely wrapped up in. Gemma and Suling were easy to follow and root for. They had the perfect villain and I loved how they were revealed. The count down to the earthquake added that level of suspense that everyone loves.
As always the authors note was what really tied this all together for me. The amount of research that was done always shows in the final product. Well done and highly recommended!
