I'm 1/3 into the book and nothing has happened yet. I would probably continue reading if I didn't hate the writing style so much--Scalzi seems to forget he's writing a novel, not a sitcom. I was reading this with a book club group and my friends seemed to love it, but it just wasn't for me.

Edit: Decided to pick it back up because a different bookclub was reading it. I liked the final chapters because the action finally picks up. This was a great book, just not at all my type of humor.
