Once again, Emily Henry wrote a masterpiece! I love everything this woman writes and I'll read absolutely anything she publishes!
I connected with Daphne and her story, I feel like I understand her. I loved Miles and the way he treated Daphne. 
This book is definitely one of my favorites this year!

A Guerra da Papoula by R.F. Kuang
Did not finish book. Stopped at 61%.

The book is really well written, R. F. Kuang is an amazing author. But, the themes were so dense and hard to read, I feel like this story isn't for me.

O livro é bem interessante, gostei muito da dinâmica entre o casal principal. No entanto, não me conectei com a parte final.

não sou muito fã do plot de perda de memória

Porém, na edição que eu li, tinham muitos erros de português, alguns erros de concordância e palavras faltando. Acredito que por ser uma publicação independente, não tenha um trabalho de revisão. Mas a leitura foi muito envolvente e fiquei curiosa para ler a história da Nora e do Santino.

I think I went into the story with so many expectations because of all the tiktoks recommending this book. It is a well written piece, (some) of the characters are well developed and the premise of the book is compelling. However, I didn't buy the romance aspect. 

the MMC is unbearable, she's a douche, I don't get all the hype

eu comecei a ler esse livro com muitas espectativas. talvez seja por isso que eu me recepcionei.

"tudo é rio" foi o meu primeiro contato com a escrita da Carla Madeira, que é arte pura. a forma como ela escreve é muito fluida e envolvente. os personagens são ricos e tridimensionais, com defeitos e nuances. mas, eu não me apeguei a nenhum dos personagens, não gosto de nenhum deles.

porém, muitas vezes, a história me pareceu perdida, sem uma continuidade.
achei que em alguns momentos a linguagem é muito vulgar, sem trazer nenhum sentido para a narrativa.  

o final, na minha opinião, é inadmissível não condiz nem um pouco com o resto da narrativa. o filho sobreviver e ser como uma cura pro sofrimento daquele casal pareceu muito forçado. sem falar que foi uma passada de pano pra violência doméstica, justificando as ações do Venâncio com o abandono por parte do pai dele.
