This came in with glowing reviews and I did want to love it. I just couldn't connect with the characters and the plot seemed to be going...places...and never got back. The assertion that college isn't necessary and the pressure to live up to this expectation gained my interest at first but it soon became repetitive. Characters appeared out of nowhere. I understand that this is meant to cater to the younger generation, and perhaps I'm just not the target audience of this book.
