God I love an unreliable narrator and god does this book give you just that. The author's note provides so much context for the plot I wish I'd read it first before diving in because the tone of this novel is just so wretched the whole way through I almost couldn't finish it; I'm still not quite sure how I feel but I am glad I persevered because I grew so fiercely protective of Julian lmao

It wasn't until the last act that the true nature of Paul and Julian's dynamic began to make sense, and the feeling of their increasingly frantic desperation to reach each other is visceral. A perfect depiction of teen angst at its absolute worst, the clearest way I can think to explain the reading experience of this book is to think of the narrative as just one long intrusive thought. Incredible.

hard to describe the fierce love I have for this book - I already loved the film but there's something about the way Richard Adams draws on the real life behaviour of rabbits to inform the behaviour of the characters in his story that gives an element of authenticity and believability to the rabbits in the book. This is one of my new favourite books of all time and it's taking everything in me to not turn right back to the first page and start the whole journey over again.

this book chewed me up and spat me out like a pomegranate seed I cried so hard during the last quarter of this book my eyes were sore and I had to lie silently and stare at the ceiling after I was finished for a while no thoughts head empty reduced to just an absolute shell of a human.

Vivek I love you; Akwaeke Emezi it is ON SIGHT.

My favourite of the Robot series so far!!! I love this book so much!!!!!

The dialogue and character interactions were actually my favourite part and I loved getting to learn about Aurora and the spacer world as a whole. Daneel and Giskard's interactions with Baley were so much fun, and I was glad to see Gladia back to play a part in the narrative as well. This might just be one of my new favourite reads in a while.
