this was a really quick and cute read. it’s not exactly revolutionary in the bully romance genre but that being said it’s much better than a lot of others i’ve read. i liked gemma - she was really cute and stood up for herself and i liked the way her trauma was presented. i really liked the way her past with sexual abuse was explored, as well as the commentary on the double standards that are so prominent in high school.
lucas was a nice surprise! he was the typical possessive alpha male but also really soft and romantic and really cute!!!
overall the book wasn’t anything special and was an average read but the last few chapters made up for it and i liked the ending and i can’t wait to get to devlin and blair’s book!!!!
