I related to Enid more than I would like to admit. This was spectacularly written and I really enjoyed the pace and writing style. I will definitely be coming back to this one again.

This was fine I guess. I feel like overall it was very meh and was very clearly written by a man (not to an egregious level but it was definitely present throughout). Definitely a pallete cleanser for me and not actively bad but I don't see myself recommending it. I was hoping for more heist planning and less of whatever this was.

Went into this on the recommendation of a friend with not a lot of info and I loved it! The end really sold it for me and I loved how Blake played with different writing styles throughout. I really felt like I was in it with the characters.

This book really pleasantly surprised me! I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would especially because last year I read a book heavily influenced by this one and hated it. The ending was a little abrupt for my tastes but the book overall was excellent. Super fun and light read that still explores real emotion.

This was... certainly a book. Quite a bit of it felt a little unrealistic to me, but there was quite a bit of nice character study as well. I'm not sure why but I couldn't DNF it. Definitely didn't hate it but I'm not sure i liked it either.

I definitely need to reread this on paper to fully absorb the story, and honestly will probably rate it higher once I do. I loved the vibes of this book and the scenes I felt I fully understood were beautifully written. I am very interested in reading more of the author's works.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.
Picked this up because I love the narrator. Not the vibe right now, very long winded.

This book definitely dragged at times which is such a shame because I loved the overall concept and some of the passages had incredibly strong writing. The "twist" of the book is immediately revealed and the story takes the reader through what happened to the end that is hinted at in the beginning of the story. I loved this conceptually and I feel like it actually made dual POV work for me for once. Unfortunately several of the Joe chapters felt like they should've been cut or gone through another round of edits in my opinion. The Norma chapters were all strong and I loved her story, it hit home a lot for me as someone finding my biological family. Overall I will definitely read anything else Peters publishes but I will not be recommending this to everyone I meet.

Bad with Money: The Imperfect Art of Getting Your Financial Sh*t Together by Gabe Dunn

A solid intro personal finance book. Dunn is very funny and tells a very engaging story, I will say that this is definitely more aimed at college/pre-college people especially in early chapters. If you have a good foundation with personal finance this is mostly just a funny non fiction read.

I was very nervous the sequel wouldn't live up to the original but Chambers did it again. This should be a required read for everyone. I look forward to going through her backlog.
