At times the language was too flowery even for my tastes but overall a very excellent read!

One of my favorite reads so far this year. Already planning a reread and to get a physical copy.

Informative but a little dense with info (interesting info!). Will definitely need to reread to chew on all of it.

Extremely important book that everyone should read. It can be pretty graphic (but not sensationalized) so check trigger warnings first.

A fun read! Listened to it all in one sitting which I think added to my enjoyment. There were a few phrases here and there that felt slightly too modern that took me out but overall very nice short read.

Wasn't totally what I was hoping for but I did enjoy it. The multiple narrators was hard because some were definitely better than others.

Take my review with a grain of salt as this was definitely an out of my comfort zone read. I'm glad I did it though! It was well written and interesting, I did lose the plot a few times but overall quite a nice change in pace. If you like more surreal books I'd definitely try this!

A terrible follow up after Such a Fun Age. Great characters and nothing was done with them, which isn't always a bad thing but in this case it was. Felt like a ton of rambling for zero payoff. Wish these characters had been used better.
