*Spoilers for PJO*

In The Lost Hero (the 6th book of the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles), we follow Jason, Piper and Leo.
Still, prepare to come across or hear about some cherished characters from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series such as Annabeth, Percy, Thalia, Clarisse, Silena and (obviously) Chiron.
The story takes place only a few years after the Titan war where a lot of demigods fought to stop Kronos from taking control of Olympus.
Piper's dad disappeared. But her dad is Tristan McLean, a famous actor from The King of Sparta, which keeps her from talking about him, even to her friends.
Jason doesn't remember who he is. He has to find a way to get his memory back. Little did he know, it was going to be way more difficult than he expected.
Leo has some weird things going on in his life and slowly figures out the cause of all things that happened in his past.
When the three of them are sent on a quest to save Hera, they learn some shocking things about themselves.
How will they manage their lives as heroes? Join them on their journey along with new friendships, trust, family, self-acceptance and of course, enemies.

Annabeth's boyfriend, Percy Jackson, has gone missing.
She, along with Butch and the Hunters of Artemis are sent to find him.

In this book, you will keep learning about Greek mythology and slowly get introduced to Roman mythology along with the gods' multiple personalities.

*MAJOR HOO (TLH) SPOILERS!!!*

Rick Riordan is an absolute genius.
The way he sets for the plot so subtly chapters ahead (sometimes even book or entire series)!
First, we find out that Percy Jackson is missing.
Then, there is Jason, coming at Camp Half-Blood with a purple shirt.
Jason's brain is wired to think in roman terms, calling himself the son of Jupiter.
During the story, Hera keeps reminding them about the existence of other demigods and an exchange that Jason has made.
At the end of the book, we find out that all this time, Percy was at Camp Jupiter (being the camp for the roman-born demigods with an orange shirt, not knowing who he was, using Greek terms.
The "exchange" being Percy and Jason switching camps to help bring peace between the Greek and the Roman demigods. They will have to come together to fight what is coming next.
I also love that the next book is called The Son of Neptune, meaning Percy Jackson.
Neptune is Poseidon's roman form.
