I really liked the dual timeline, I thought it kept things engaging the whole time. The present day woman trying to unravel the mystery of the past while also getting the actual story during the past POVs was an excellent choice. I didn’t really care for the present day woman’s personal struggles though with the marriage issues, I didn’t feel that was necessary. And all the pregnancy talk was completely unneeded in my opinion and really lessened my enjoyment
