So this book took me like 12 hours to finish because I was generally just really exited to see how it would go. It had been a year since the last one and I had such high hopes!!! Let's just say that while I glad to have one of my fave couples back in my life, I was pretty disappointed with some of the aspects and scenes in this book. I can't wait for the next one, but I can't help but feel that everything that needed to be answered or said could've been put into this book. It feels like it's being stretched. Nonetheless, I love me some Gideon and Eva and I always will.

I think I overhyped this book in my mind I can't even lie. It was overall a fairly decent novel, but I can't say that I'd read anything else by him. I think it's good for everyone to read this though, because I am sure that no one is as picky as I am. All in all, I give this book a 2.5/5 stars.

I didn't like how the entire book was basically over 1 day with various flashbacks, and I couldn't connect with the characters at all. I'm still gonna read the sequel though because idk, sometimes sequels are better.

I REALLLLLLY WANTED TO GIVE THIS 5 STARS BUT THE ENDING HAS ME CONFLICTED. This book is gr8 and the author is a gr8 writer and going in blind is gr8 and even if you don't go in blind, you're still going to be like "what the fuck" more than twice while reading this and that's what gets me excited about reading and this sentence isn't even a thing and I'm gonna stop typing now.

I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, but it's a good story.
