Witty, modern, and roaring with truth, Cameron succinctly and eloquently eliminates gender essentialist brouhaha through facts and opinion commingled. A pleasure and a joy to read; this book is a searing critique of the binary idea of gender as we know it and an urge to reconsider the fragile gender roles and gender-based ideologies upon which our society is built.

My English teacher never fails to recommend the most amazing books I have ever read in my entire life. The writing was lyrical and enchanting, there are vampire lesbians (standing for themselves), and I confess I teared up out of sheer admiration once or twice.
