I was very excited to read a fantasy book written by a black author because they can be hard to find. I was very disappointed and won’t be reading anything else by this author. Going back and forth between first and second person is just not my cup of tea. It’s also very boring. I guess I prefer more adventure and excitement with my fantasy but either way this was not good at al.
