The Murder on the Links by Agatha Christie

As always, all hail Hugh Fraser. He’s the only I reason I never tire of listening to Poirot stories. Even though I’ve listened to A LOT of them.
Uppdrag Hail Mary by Andy Weir

Lost access to the audiobook. It had nothing to do with the book itself

One positive thing before I talk a bunch of shit, the pacing of this book was so good. It really got you into the story and it all went by very quickly.
Onto the bad stuff. I didn't feel a connection to this book at all. So many things that could've been good were underdeveloped, the old binder and MCs relationship could've been much more engaging and if we spent more time on it a lot of the story would have felt more meaningful. Especially if we learned more about the world and society of the setting through her perspective, because the world could have been so interesting to learn more about. The love story was also underdeveloped, and this is yet another relationship that could have been so wonderful and engaging if given more time to grow.
This story could have been so good if the characters had more room to breathe and more time to grow with one another. But I am also a big character-focused reader, so if the story is what you read a book for, this book might work for you more than it did for me.

First time in a while that I read a book in my native language.
The mystery was very interesting, the pacing was a little slow and the characters were so annoying, but it kind of added to the vibe?

Lord Edgware Dies by Agatha Christie

I love Agatha Christie, and I love Hugh Fraser, but this is one of those mysteries that's a little too hard to solve for yourself when listening. No clues lining up until you get the "ahah" feeling when Poirot gives his final speech, I was just confused.
