The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.

I assume their relationship improves throughout the book, but the way the main character describes her love interest is disgusting and disrespectful (and not in a funny way), and they're both extremely stereotypical so far.

The reason I'm stopping is because, after less than 20 pages, there have already been over five instances of the main character blatantly fat-shaming her boss. Is it supposed to be funny? Is she supposed to be likeable? Ugh.

I absolutely adore this book. However, I do have to admit that some parts felt hard to read because they reminded me of my high school years, where I was still closeted due to the very fears that come true in The Sky Blues. It also gave me hope though, that younger people can feel empowered by the story and rise up for themselves or their queer friends as well. 

It also contains the best teacher that has ever existed (or, well, fictionally existed), and I want her to have been my teacher in high school.
