This book makes one wonder at how Carroll created such a unique, fun, and creative world. At times, I was so confounded but also sure the storyline made sense. I enjoyed the world building and diversity of the cast of characters.

This is such a timeless poem. I fell in love with this in school and fell in love again as an adult. I love the prose and storyline. Poe delivers both a moving and mysterious story.

Wow. Just wow. I am a dedicated Maas reader- if she had a grocery list or to do list, it would be on the top of my TBR. Having read TOG and ACOTAR, this book both lives up to an exceeds expectations. A book that makes you laugh and cry is powerful and she definitely delivers. I am so excited for the rest of the books in this series and to see where Maas takes this storyline/characters.

Give me a haunted house story and I am there! I really enjoyed the variety of ghosts and the added bonus of the house itself waking up each September. I liked the backstories of the ghosts and how they all tied into the home throughout. I also enjoyed the back and forth of the story itself from past to present, all coming together at the proper time to make the connections to the main storyline/characters. It was such an enjoyable read that, at times, involved a creep factor.

I love reading about other people's life experiences. This memoir took a different format than other memoirs that I have read previously, and I was eager to pick it up. I think the format was very beneficial to the story, as those not familiar with the main character's line of work may have been a bit confused or not connected with the story as much. I learned a lot from reading this book and am grateful that the author shared her story in such a candid way.

This book was a recommendation on Kindle Unlimited. A sucker for fairy tale retellings, I was intrigued. Although I did like the interesting take on the Peter Pan story, I feel like the book was too plot heavy and did not lend too much in regard to character development and world building. I'll try book 2 and see where it goes from there!

This book has been on my TBR for years and I am so happy that I finally made the plunge. This book was everything I imagined it to be and more and I am so excited to read more of Erin Morgenstern's books.
