I knew this was going to be one of my favourites before I was even a quarter of the way through. And I have to say, so far Blue Lily, Lily Blue is my favourite from the series!!
The writing is so quirky and magical, at times confusing, but that's the beauty of Maggie's work! I want so badly to be in this perfect squad of characters! I sort of wish Noah showed up more, since he IS supposed to be a main character, but I can look over it as long as Gansey continues being swoon worthy Gansey. <3

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ.
I really enjoyed this first book and I'm already onto the second. HOWEVER, I found after getting to the end that I felt slightly cheated of any real action and even the last fight was a not lack luster although cringe worthy for sure. I feel the sudden magical bit threw me off and I didn't quite get into it the way I know Sarah wanted me to, possibly because the story really focused on the character relationships and not much else. This is fine in itself because, part of why I enjoyed the book so much was because of the well thought out characters and how they interacted with each other. Anyway on to the next one!
