This book was so beautiful and magical. I absolutely fell in love with it's world and it's characters. I'm going to reread and reread this story for sure. Sidra will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Madeline Miller once again shows her beautiful prose with this short story about Galatea. For a story of only 50 pages, Galatea has a lot of depth and does an amazing job tackling a dark theme. Unfortunately, to me 50 pages are still too little to reach the amount of depth I search for in stories, so I cannot rate this one higher than 3 stars.

This one was a struggle to get through. Could have been half it's size in my opinion... and why all the difficult terminology? Felt unnecessary...
