Nice quick read that gives off huge ‘Misery’ vibes! Really enjoyed this and made me super uneasy too! I appreciate this was meant to be a novella but I do think the author could’ve done soooo much with this had they expanded to a novel! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THAT LAST PAGE

I loved the premise of this book and had such a high hopes. The first few chapters made me a little ‘uncomfortable’ but other than that I was just bored and longing for the end.

2 stars because the ending was good- but by the time I got there I just wasn’t invested nor interested anymore

Listen listen- I’m MAD!!! I had such high hopes for this book! The first 40ish percent I was loving. Fast paced, tense, had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen. And then it like stopped? Quite literally came to a tragic halt and it got boring FAST! There was soooo much potential. So many different ways this could’ve gone! I was envisioning do many different outcomes BUT NO.

I’m mad, I’m upset and I’m dissatisfied. 2 stars cos the first half was good.

HMMM. I just don't know how to feel. I enjoyed it but I also feel it was just all over the place at some points and just had the most bizarre, random things happening?! I just cant put my finger on how i feel!

3.5 rounded up ⭐️

I loved the premise of this and honestly really enjoyed the plot. But it didn’t feel very thrilling. I feel that, had it been faster paced, it would’ve flowed better and worked in favour of the story. However, I still enjoyed my time reading it and there were lots of twists- but, as it was slower paced, they didn’t feel as impactful to me!

Listen the story was soo good and twisty and just crazy but the writing was so disjointed that it kind of took away from the story!? Also why were there sooooo many words in italics for no reason!?

Would’ve been a higher rating but honestly think a new editor is needed to go back over and proof read!

it wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either! I feel like a lot more could've been done and more tension could've been built up. To be honest I was a little disappointed.
