As a hardened fan of Harry Potter, I would enjoy any new lore, as I did with this script, although it lacked the deepness of the novel format.
3.5*
This book was a marathon. I respect the intention of it's narrative, but I was soon out of breath. I really enjoyed how each storyline were written in very different styles. The second half of the book was like a falling line of dominoes and it was quite satisfying to see every detail take it's place. However, it was a lot and I felt exhausted by it. I wanted to get to the end but not for the good reasons.

A rough and realistic story. I just thought the "before" was taking a little long and too much time was spent on what kind of girl Emma was.
Rarement, un livre est si familier aussi rapidement. Des histoires qui aurait pu m'être contées par une connaissance. Touchantes et vraies.
