The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

Beautiful, dark and witty writing. Never read this in school, but glad I decided to dive in now. I relate to Plath's writing and style, but not to her own ending.

The Dry by Jane Harper

I really enjoyed this book - murder mystery in an Australian setting. A great read for the Winter blues. Mysterious, memorable, and interesting characters with a few twists and turns. Hoping for a Faulk #2.

A powerful short book (under 50 pages) reminding us of the importance of feminism and how it can often be misunderstood. A must read for every human being.
