Read this as a buddy read with a friend and was a bit torn on if I enjoyed it or not! The writing clearly made me feel, so a job well done there. I felt the language made me feel uncomfortable at times but again I guess that was part of forming the character. I was somewhat disappointed with how it ended. I think there were parts throughout that we’re rushed or that could have had more depth to them.
Mixed feelings.

I liked this book because it was realistic, this does happen to people and people like Richard do exist!

I really enjoyed the writing style and descriptions, I was hooked from the beginning.

I wasn’t expecting the ending... not sure if I’m pleased with it or not!

This is the second Jack Reacher novel I’ve read and I enjoyed it! I loved how one small act lead to uncovering so much! Some very clever elements and twists I certainly didn’t see coming!
I did feel the story probably could have been condensed to under 500 pages without missing too much!
Overall I would recommend!

I haven’t read this since I was a child and it’s still just as good! A very easy, quick read based on a very strong story line! I enjoyed the writing style and I found it very captivating!

Would definitely recommend this read, if you haven’t already!

I did not enjoy this book. The main part of the story was completely lost for me in the serious of flash backs. I didn’t feel connected to Roy and I wasn’t particularly interested. The ending could have had something but I felt it was very anticlimactic!

I found myself skim reading and losing focus throughout!

Maybe I’ll re-read in a few years and have a different opinion but this time round I was disappointed.

I really enjoyed this book. The way it was written jumping for the past to the present kept me hooked. Was supposed to read it over 4 days as part of a buddy read and we read it in 2 instead!

Slightly disappointed with the slightly open ending but I can deal with that as the rest was SO good!

There were twists and turns I didn’t see coming and really good character development all the way through!

I would recommend!
