👏 Hope 👏 Funny 👏 Ambition 👏 Politics 👏 sad moments   I really enjoyed it so much and the writing is very well done.  I'm still a beginner in reading middle grade but this book open my eyes to new view to the middle grade books not just horror or fantasy. Living Ruthless adventure to get her dream come true was amazing.  There were a lot of funny moments in this book.  But the ending was wow it went to direction I never expected made me tear. I like the way Melody wrote certain back stories interwined with the main plot without feeling you been took away from the main story that's was great.  I highly recommend it if you enjoy middle grade books or for tweens in your life. My son listened to part of the book with me in car after I picked him up from school and he told me that's so cool book. He loved it too.
