A light, fast-paced, and fun thriller. I liked how in the end Ava

doesnt go back to her life as a typical Chinese American wife and mom. She goes back in the counterfeit game with Winnie, using what people assume of them to do work that excites her.

Props also to the very relatable depiction of being an anxious, working mom, working through internal and external sources of shame and guilty. I was so happy when Ava and Henri

get professional help from a speech therapist, and keep Maria in their lives
